Nacogdoches residents are hosting a town hall meeting concerning Sunset Review for the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). The purpose of the Town hall is to provide a discussion forum for residents to learn about the Sunset process and voice their experiences with the agency charged with protecting the health and environment of Texas. The forum will be conducted in a panel discussion format, allowing short presentations by panelists followed by individual commentary.
Sponsors of the event include: First United Methodist Church, Austin Heights Baptist Church Earth Care Ministry, Landowners Rights Alliance (LORA) and Pineywoods Sierra Club. Residents of Nacogdoches and surrounding communities are invited to join us to recount their experiences with TCEQ, and to share their suggestions for improving the agency in light of TCEQ’s upcoming Sunset Review.
We hope that you will be available to join in this important conversation. Attendees can RSVP to this event via facebook.
