ACT In Austin
When the Legislature’s in session, most ACT events take place in Austin (with the exception of our first Earth Day Is District Day! advocacy events around the state the week of April 18th). Here’s what we have planned for Austin in spring 2011.
ACT Lobby Day
Tuesday March 15th 8:00 a.m. to 4:00p.m.
Dinner, advocacy training and issue caucuses on Monday, March 14th
House and Senate Committee Hearings on the TCEQ Sunset Bills
Hearings on the sunset bills will be scheduled by the appropriate House and Senate committees. ACT will post information about these bills and hearings throughout the legislative session.
Earth Day in the Capitol
ACT will observe Earth Day in the Capitol on Tuesday, April 19th.
